About Me
Hi there, I’m Hannah, and horticulture quite simply feels like home to me.
I spent years working for corporates, travelling internationally, and grew tired of the hustle and grind of it all. The 3am alarm calls, hotel check check-ins, airport lounges- bleurgh! I’ve missed countless birthdays, friends and family events due to work commitments. What if there was another way to live your life? What if my passion for all things gardening and flowers could be the way? Call it a mid life crisis, call it finding my purpose, finally!
I began studying for my RHS diploma in Horticulture in September 2024 at Bicton Agricultural College, which has proved to be a lot of fun and improved the quality of my growing. This year I will have a wide range of flowers full of texture, movement and character that change with the seasons. Gorgeous Tulips, Ranunculus and Anemones in the Spring. Summer annuals are are raised from seed and nurtured through the perils of winter in my small polytunnel. I’m also expanding my collection of perennials and foliage a little at a time- Eucalyptus, Roses and Peonies everyones favourites!
